About Me

    My interest in IT began out of curiosity about how rapidly technology continues to evolve. From AI to VR, I found myself wondering how innovation moves forward so quickly. This is what led me to pursue education in the IT field!

    Although I am still new to this field, my interest was sparked by a good friend of mine who was studying IT. Listening to him explain concepts such as website maintenance and system troubleshooting opened my eyes to the depth behind everyday technology. He also helped me with troubleshooting my own PC on why it was overheating, bad internet connections, etc... Thanks to him, I saw this as an opportunity to learn more about this field. Although I am still new to this course of study, I have begun learning basic coding concepts and trouble shooting hardware and network issues.

    My career aspiration is to work in cyber security, specifically penetration testing. I am intrigued by the challenge of identifying vulnerabilities within systems and developing strategies to strengthen security. I believe cyber security will help me build upon my critical/creative mindset to be a better technician for network security. Additionally, I am interested in coding and web development. The ability to build websites or applications from the ground up is both creative and rewarding, and I hope to develop those technical skills as I continue to study in this field.

    Overall, I want to build on my foundation by developing further technical knowledge and hands-on experience necessary to become confident and capable in the IT field. My goal is to become “tech-savvy” not only for myself but to be able to assist others who may encounter technical issues.

    I am excited to continue learning and growing in this ever-evolving field and look forward to where this journey will take me.
